I’m so happy to have been invited to be part of the Énflaith (Birdreign) Leader’s Network: a new ten-year initiative – led and facilitated by Hometree; the Irish Land Restoration Charity and now the largest nature charity in Ireland.
It was created to bring together people from across ecology, farming, health, culture, language, and storytelling to explore our shared relationship with land, nature, and community.
Énflaith has been developed in memory of Manchán Magan who was one of the founders of Hometree. The term Énflaith (pronounced ‘ane-flaw’) references the work of Irish philosopher John Moriarty who invoked this theme from the Irish tradition to conjure a time when all beings lived in harmony with each other.
Thanks to all at Hometree, and to Aisling Rogerson & Bill Hanlon for bringing us all together.
